MSWJR 0-6-0T No.3, derelict by Swindon Town loco shed in the late 1890s. These small locos were not really suitable for long distance work on a cross country line like the MSWJR, and saw little use once better locos became available. However they had a reprieve in 1900, when they were refurbished by Avonside for use on military traffic to Salisbury Plain, although they were later sold off for industrial use.
