The level crossing keepers cottage in Broome Manor Lane is in the middle of the picture on the extreme right. It is small white house with a white chimney and black roof. The line came from Old Town station on the right and continued straight across the picture through what is now Leverton Gate. Nationwide Building Society Head Office is in the top right hand corner and the M4 can be just seen weaving its way across the top of the picture.
